We never see what you write in the kit.

What you write in the kit

The kit is a set of files you download. You fill them in on your own device, on paper, or in your own Google or Notion account. None of it is sent to us, and we have no way to see it. Please don’t email us a filled-in copy.

The quiz

The quiz asks about your situation in general terms, like whether you have kids, pets, a home or a business. It never asks for account numbers, passwords or balances. Your answers are used only to build your checklist.

When you buy

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email address, billing details Stripe needs (such as country and postal code) and what you bought. We never see your full card number. We use this to deliver the kit, handle refunds and keep the records tax law requires.

The free Emergency Sheet and emails

If you ask for the free 1-Page Emergency Sheet, your email address is stored with our email provider, Kit. We use it to send the sheet and occasional emails about the kit. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and doesn’t fingerprint visitors. We see only totals, such as pages viewed, the site that referred you, country, browser and device type.

Campaign links

If you arrive from a link with campaign tags (the “utm” part of a web address), the page keeps those tags in your browser for this visit and passes them to checkout, so we know which video or post sent you. They’re cleared when you close the tab.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t use advertising trackers on this site.

Your choices

To see or delete what we hold about you, email us. We’ll delete your email address and purchase details, except records we’re required to keep for taxes.

This site is run by the makers of the Just-in-Case Kit.
